IntegreProSCAN™

Fast. Deliver up to 25 shots in just half a second.
The industry’s fastest pattern scanning photocoagulator, Rapide™ enables you to deliver a pattern of up to 25 laser shots in just 0.5 seconds. Featuring the latest generation of pattern scanning laser technology, with Rapide™ you can achieve 2000 laser shots during PRP treatment in less than 7 minutes – including the time required to prepare the patient.

Maximize Treatment Outcomes, Minimize Patient Discomfort
Unlike conventional photocoagulation, Rapide™ uses millisecond pulse durations. These millisecond pulses limit the potential for damage to surrounding tissue, dramatically reducing both vertical and horizontal thermal diffusion (especially to the choroid) of the laser energy. The result is targeted burns with minimal collateral damage to surrounding tissue, and a limited risk of macular edema.
A Pattern for Every Pathology
Whether accurately positioning focal treatment in the macular area, or “painting” large areas of the periphery during PRP treatment, Rapide™ offers a multitude of patterns and pattern variations. All patterns are available in a number of size options and can be fully rotated 360 degrees for optimum treatment flexibility. There is also an option to set the pattern as an outline in aiming beam mode, allowing you to observe the laser tissue effect during treatment.

To ensure precise pattern delivery, Rapide’s computer-controlled operation safeguards against shape inconsistencies: it guarantees consistency in the shape of laser spots and patterns. Each pattern size is limited to 6000 microns in diameter to facilitate correct focusing in accordance with the curvature of the eye, while a maximum pattern duration of 750 ms ensures the patient does not move during pattern delivery.

Rapide™ also allows you to perform treatment in single-shot mode, enabling quick and easy adjustment in order to cater for variation in pigmentation.
